an introduction to handbuilding with clay

In this 2 hour long workshop, you’ll learn the basics of working with clay. We will explore simple techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building, with plenty of room to experiment and explore your ideas.

You’ll also have the opportunity to experiment with underglaze, adding color and decoration to your pieces

All materials are provided.

No prior experience is needed for this workshop. You will leave understanding the basic construction of a handmade ceramic object, using simple tools as well as your hands!
